How to Be Fine After You Ghosted on Your Blog
"What's up, Big Head?"
My last blog was literally 7 months ago. I know, I know. I'm Patrick Swayze and you are Demi Moore. However; I'm back (I think). In my defense, I have done a lot in the last 200 or so days. I intend to write about these things since it's been so long since I have written for How to Be Fine. In the time that I have been ghost, I have:
My last blog was literally 7 months ago. I know, I know. I'm Patrick Swayze and you are Demi Moore. However; I'm back (I think). In my defense, I have done a lot in the last 200 or so days. I intend to write about these things since it's been so long since I have written for How to Be Fine. In the time that I have been ghost, I have:
- Gone to a Travis Scott concert.
- Wrote a book! (my baby!)
- Kind of adopted a low carb diet.
- Took a Girls Trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
- Bought a HOUSE!
- Took a husband/wife trip to China.
So basically, I'm on the Frank Ocean album release schedule when it comes to blogging. What was really holding me back on uploading new blogs was my own self doubt. What if no ones cares? Well, suddenly I don't care (if they don't care). I'm dropping this and you can read, enjoy, and share or just keep scrolling. I'm getting this out for me.
So after you ghost your blog, you come back and talk about something we all love: ordering from Amazon. I just don't care to go in physical stores any longer. (This is with the exception of Home Goods & TJ Maxx, of course.)
I have been obsessed with these 5 items that I have gotten from Amazon.
1. My travel jewelry case: I've wasted too much time in my life untangling gold necklaces. (I love dainty gold necklaces!) I used to travel with them in separate little bags or in one and had a big knot of chains to undo once I got to my hotel. I also wouldn't have a place to set them aside so I would lay them on a dresser and hope I remembered to gather them back up when packing. It's worst on a girls trip because now you are sharing spaces with others that also have jewelry laying around. Take my advice and buy you and your girlfriends one of these. Only $12.99! Get the same one: here
Comes with a pad in between to prevent scratching. |
Fits a lot but still compact. |
2. A dry brush: goodbye cellulite. Have you researched the benefits of dry brushing? Brushing your skin in circular motions towards your heart is very healthy. I do this prior to jumping in the shower. Dry brushing helps move toxins through lymphatic drainage, exfoliates the skin and prevents cellulite. It prevents cellulite by breaking up and moving the fatty deposits so it doesn't create the "dents" in that area. That's my layman's description however; type in dry brushing in Youtube and order your brush. Your thighs will thank you later. Get the one I use: here
I have been dry brushing for 2 years! Zoom in. |
3. Maca Root powder: hashtag health. I suffer from hormonal adult acne. It sucks. Maca Root powder helps me balance the hormones and the benefits include (but not limited to): reducing anxiety and depression, improves memory, provides tons of energy, and is an adaptogen. An adaptogen is a natural substance considered to help the body adapt to stress and to exert a normalizing effect upon the bodily processes. I haven't had any cystic breakouts and successfully had a few mentrual cycles with clear skin! This is also recommended for those with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) due to the related benefits. I encourage you to do the additional research to see if it's for you. I order this one and add it to my coffee in the morning: here
No filter. My skin and I have come such a long way! |
4. Glass 3 compartment containers: adult lunchables are respectable in these according to the compliments I get when I have one on my desk. Most people think going to the gym is hard but it's the food you eat day in and day out that makes a huge difference. Get you some containers with compartments for "no cook meal prep". It's the healthy fast food. I put grapes in one compartment, some pecans in another and some cubed cheese in the last one. Talk about office snack envy. The only thing missing is wine. Another combo I like is: chicken salad, crackers, and strawberries. I bought this kind:here
5. Zinc supplements: skin, skin and skin again. Your skin cannot be an overnight success. Trust me. You have to start from within. Zinc has benefits that include (but not limited to): improved immune function, regulates blood glucose, and cell repair. The skin benefits from zinc as it gives skin the nutrients needed for skin turnover and repair. You can get the same benefits from eating foods such as pumpkin seeds, eggs, spinach, and chickpeas to name a few sources. However; taking the supplement ensures your skin gets a healthy dosage. I also noticed I do not get sick as often with the common cold since taking zinc supplements. I take mine after dinner since it's best on a full stomach. I order this kind:here
My skin on zinc! Let that zinc in. |
Hope you enjoyed this post and I will be back with more topics. I may have more excuses but we will see :) Take care.
Namaste,
T. Singleton
