Wine Gummy Bears!

"Goodbye, Sugarfina. Don't need you anymore."

I made wine gummy bears! I created a crisp Rose and a bold Cabernet Sauvignon version. Perfect for gifts! There are a lot of versions of this on Pinterest and Youtube but I tweaked it to create my own.

Equipment Needed:
Gummy Bear Molds with Liquid Dropper (Ordered for $10 from Amazon)

Amazon literally has everything.

Ingredients:
4 Tablespoons of Unflavored Gelatin (I used Vital Proteins brand)
1 Cup of Wine (I used Kendall Jackson's Rose and Bogle Cabernet)
4 Drops of Stevia (I used Trader Joe's brand)

Directions:
Pour HALF of the wine into a sauce pan on low heat. Add gelatin and stevia. Stir until the gelatin is dissolved. Take the saucepan off the stove so it's no longer heating the mixture. Pour in the rest of the wine and stir.

Note: This is where I tweaked the recipe. Most of the versions I found online poured the entire cup of wine in the saucepan which would heat and cook off much of the alcohol content. (Who wants that?!) So I decided to use (sacrifice) HALF to dissolve the gelatin powder and then add in the other HALF right before pouring into the mold. Thank me later.

Use the liquid dropper to add the mixture into the molds. Put in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Store the gummies in an airtight container (mason jars are the best). They should keep for one week.

Fine ass gummy bears!

Gulp.

Ahh, so relaxing.

Look at those boozy bodies.
